Check if any of the items you are discarding can be donated instead. THINK BEFORE YOU THROW – Consider donating before tossing
For questions regarding bulk pick-up please call the City of Weston Public Works Services Center at 954-385-2600 or visit the city of weston website at www.westonfl.org click on Public Works and then Bulk Pick Up.

Bulk items include, but are not limited to:
* Furniture
* Mattresses and carpets and other large household items
* Large and small appliances such as dishwashers, laundry machines, and stoves.
* Refrigerators or air conditioners must have Freon removed by a certified dealer.
NOTE: Mirrors, glass, glass tabletops, windowpanes, and plate glass items should be safely placed in a rigid container to facilitate safe collection. Larger glass items such as table tops, shower doors, windows should be placed separately from the rest of the bulk pickup.
Bulk items DO NOT include contractor-generated material, or vegetative waste (landscape materials) or household hazardous waste (HHW), see below for disposal of HHW. Vegetative/Landscape waste is collected with your regular garbage collection.
Where to place Bulk Items for collection?
Bulk items should be placed at or near the same location where your regular garbage is collected. Ensure your garbage cart can still be collected. Do not place bulk items near overhead obstructions, trees, mailboxes, or automobiles. Do not place bulk items inside commercial container enclosures, in front of commercial containers, behind gates, or in any manner that would limit the regular garbage service you receive. Household Hazardous Waste Materials are not accepted in bulk collections.

Permanent Hazardous Waste Collection Centers Near Weston, Fl

If you missed (as I did) the special Hazardous Waste Collection on May 17th at Weston, Florida you don’t have to keep it forever haging around your backyard or garage. Broward County has 3 Permanent Places to drop off your hazardous waste.
The Closest to Weston is at 5490 Reese Rd davie, Fl and it opens on Saturday Only from 8:00AM to 3:00PM

Drop off your items at the Public Works Complex, 2599 South Post Road Weston, Fl 33332. On South Post Rd Between Bonaventure and Saddle Club; north of Windmill Reserve
