Mitch’s Westside Bagels Too Now in Weston!
July 4th, 2011 categories: Eating Out, Living in Weston
Much More Than Bagels…
After I overheard some people talking about this place a few months ago, I finally went to have breakfast there this weekend. It was hard to decide what to have but I went for the Crispy French Toasts….it very good, but enough for at least 2 people. Servings are “Cheese Cake Factory Size” so I would suggest you share (it must be very common because there are charges for sharing).
You can’t miss the Ruggalach …they are delicious!
The Service is excellent and the complimentary corn breads are worth the calories.
For Breakfast they have of course Bagels (19 varieties to choose from) with many options of cheeses and smoke fish.; Eggs any style, Omelettes, Pancakes, French Toasts and Breakfast in Wraps.
For Lunch the menu includes Overstuffed Deli Sandwiches, Triple Decker Club Sandwiches, Homemade Knishes, Soups, Wraps, Salads, Burgers, Chicken Grills and Hot Dogs.
There is free Delivery for Catering Platters of which they offer a wide variety of options.

Sun Pass Plus at Miami International Airport
September 12th, 2010 categories: Community Information, Worth Sharing
Avoid the Lines and Pay your Parking With Your Sun Pass
Browsing the Miami Airport Page today I found this information, and thought that as I didn’t know some people may not know too.
Since May, 2o1o you can pay the parking by entering and leaving the parking area through the Sun Pass designated lanes. As you leave the fee will be charged to you Sun Pass Account.
As a South Florida Resident having a Sun Pass is becoming a MUST! Some highways have eliminated the toll booths and the only way to pay is with your Sun Pass. Sometimes by the time you find out it is too late and then you have to make arrangements to pay to avoid getting a ticket.
If you are renting a car find out how much they charge for the use of the Sun Pass (if provided), it may be a lot cheaper to buy one which cost less than $5 and have it replenished as you go.
Don’t forget to notify Sun Pass if you change the Vehicle Registered to the transponder!

Will Route 23 – The Only Bus Route Covering Weston be Eliminated?
August 26th, 2010 categories: Community Information, Living in Weston, Services
Or Replaced?
As we see new Bust Stops being installed on Weston Rd. we can imagine the elimination of Route 23 is the forecast of new Bus Routes that will serve Weston.
On September 14th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. there will be a public hearing with the Broward County Board of Commissioners on the proposed elimination of Bus Route 23 which provides service to Weston. I know many people who uses and have used the service and the complete elimination of the only Public Transportation Service in Weston doesn’t make much sense.
The Meeting will be held at Broward County Governmental Center Room 422.
115 S. Andrews Av, Fort Lauderdale FL 33301.
